Norwood: Man Sought for Stealing Flowers at Gunpoint

POLICE ARE LOOKING for help identifying this man who they say is sought for armed flower theft  on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024 in Norwood.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photos and video who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Norwood on Presidents’ Day.

Police said that on Monday, Feb. 19, at around 6.35 p.m., a person entered a store located at 20 East Gun Hill Road (H&B Fresh Produce) displayed a gun, and shoved a 39-year-old male store employee to the ground before stealing some flowers.

They said the person then fled southbound on foot along Dekalb Avenue. They said the victim refused medical attention at the scene.
