Norwood: Man Sought for Robbery at Webster Avenue and Parkside Place

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached media who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Norwood.

 

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s assistance identifying and locating the person seen in this photo who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, at around 2.08 p.m., in the vicinity of Webster Avenue and Parkside Place in Norwood.

Police said that on Saturday, Oct. 5, at around 2.08 p.m., in the vicinity of Webster Avenue and Parkside Place, a 45-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified individual. “The individual pushed the victim against an object and displayed a firearm, demanding his property,” police said.

 

They said the victim handed over $2,900 and the suspect then fled in a black Audi SUV northbound on Webster Avenue. They said the victim was not injured.
