Norwood: Man Sought for Robbery & Assault of 16-Year-Old

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photo who they say are sought in connection to a robbery and assault that occurred in Norwood.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at around noon in front of 3399 Jerome Avenue, three unidentified people approached a 16-year-old male victim and struck him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. “While on the ground, the three unidentified individuals repeatedly kicked the victim and removed his sneakers,” police said. “The unknown individuals then fled the location on foot to parts unknown.”

 

Police said the first individual is described as male, has a medium build, and was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, a dark vest, black sweatpants with white stripes, and white sneakers.

 

They said the second individual was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt with gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
