Norwood: Man Sought for Armed Robbery of 15-Year-Old Girl

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is sought in connection with a robbery that occurred in Norwood.

 

Police said that on Friday, Oct. 25, at around 3 p.m., a 15-year-old female victim was entering a building in the vicinity of East 204th Street and Hull Avenue when an unknown male approached.

 

“The unidentified male displayed a knife and snatched the victim’s gold chains off of her neck,” a police spokesperson said. “The value of the three gold chains were approximately $3,000.”  Police said the suspect then fled on foot westbound on East 204th Street to parts unknown, and the victim received a laceration to the hand and bruising to the neck, but refused medical attention at the scene.

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion, and is around 5 feet, 2 inches tall. They said he was wearing a black Northface jacket, gray jeans, and black and white Jordan sneakers.
