Norwood: Man Sought after Slashing Second Man in Face

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the man seen in the attached video and photo who police say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred in Norwood.

 

Police said that on that on Thursday, June 22, at around 1.35 p.m., a 30-year-old male victim was engaged in a verbal dispute with a second man in front of 9 East Mosholu Parkway North, and as the dispute escalated, the second man displayed a sharp object and slashed the victim about the left side of the face with it.

 

“The individual fled the location eastbound on foot,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “EMS responded and transported the aided victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/North Central Bronx in stable condition.”
