Norwood: Gunman Sought in Hull Avenue Daylight Shooting

Police say a gunman inside a vehicle fired at least one round at another individual in front of 3307 Hull Avenue at East 209th Street in the Norwood section of the Bronx on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 30, 2020

Police are looking for a brazen gunman who fired into an apartment building on a crowded street in Norwood.

 

According to NYPD spokeswoman, Sergeant Jessica McRorie, the incident was reported at 2.57 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, outside of 3307 Hull Avenue at East 209th Street. No injuries were reported.

McRorie said, “An unknown person in a grey sedan did discharge a firearm in the direction of another person and then fled the location.” She added, “There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.”

 

One neighborhood resident said a half dozen young members of the Bloods gang had just walked in the direction of the Hull Avenue building, when the shot rang out.
