The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photos who they say are sought in connection with a robbery of a 69-year-old woman in Norwood.
Police said that on Thursday, July 18, at around 4.30 p.m., in the vicinity of Decatur Avenue and East 211th Street, three unidentified people approached a 69-year-old woman from behind.
They said Individual #1 pushed her to the ground, and forcibly stole $9 and her cell phone, and that the victim went to St. Barnabas Hospital by private means, where she was treated for minor injuries. They said the group fled northbound on Decatur Avenue to parts unknown.
Police said Individual #1 is described as male, has a dark complexion, a slim build, and short, dark hair. They said he was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and dark-colored pants.
Police said Individual #2 is described as female, has a dark complexion, a medium build, has dark-colored hair, and was last seen wearing a black shirt and dark pants.
Police said Individual #3 is described as female, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a light-colored sweater and dark-colored pants.
