Norwood: Fire in Hull Avenue Apartment Building Results in One Minor Injury

A fire which broke out in a residential building on Hull Avenue in Norwood resulted in one injury FDNY officials said.

FDNY officials said they received a call at 9.43 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 26, for a report of a fire in a multiple dwelling at 3060 Hull Avenue, located between East 204th Street and East Mosholu Parkway.

They said 12 units comprising 60 fire and EMS personnel responded to the blaze, and added that the fire was brought under control at 10.10 p.m.

They said there was one minor injury to a civilian and the cause of the fire is under investigation by FDNY fire marshals.

 

Users of the Citizens’ App described the incident as a “kitchen fire.”
