The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached vide who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in Norwood.
Police said that on Monday, Feb. 3, at around noon an unidentified person approached a 77-year-old male victim on an island platform of the Norwood – 205th Street subway station and punched the victim multiple times in the face before fleeing on a southbound “D” train. They said the victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Norwood News visited the station on Monday and spoke to some MTA workers but they all said they had not been on duty when the incident occurred.
