Norwood: 75-Year-Old Man Assaulted

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual seen in the attached photo who is sought in connection with an assault that occurred in Norwood, located in the 52nd precinct.

 

On Saturday, Oct. 2, at approximately 9.45 a.m., in the vicinity of East 204th Street and Webster Avenue in Norwood, an unidentified man was riding the bus with a 75-year-old male victim. The assailant followed the victim off the bus and began punching him in the face, and he sustained a minor laceration to the lip. The assailant then fled on foot to parts unknown. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

 

The assailant is described as male, dark-skinned and was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweater with the word “Lakers,” printed on the front, black pants, brown boots and a black face mask.

 

The attached surveillance photo of the assailant was obtained from 374 East 204th Street.
