No D Train Service during upcoming Weekends between 161st St.-Yankee Stadium and Norwood-205th St.

THE MTA HAS advised that due to maintenance work, there will be no D service between 161st Street-Yankee Stadium and Norwoord-205th Street during some upcoming weekends.

MTA officials have advised that due to more needed maintenance work, there will be no D train service operating between the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium subway station and the Norwood-205th Street station during the following weekends:

  • Friday, Sept. 29, from 11.30 p.m. through Monday, Oct. 2, at 5 a.m.
  • The D service will run between Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue and 161st Street-Yankee Stadium, the last stop.
  • Free D90 shuttle buses will run between Mosholu Parkway subway station serving the 4 train and the Norwood-205th Street station serving the D train.

 

Travel Alternatives

  • For service between 161st Street-Yankee Stadium and Bedford Park Boulevard, the MTA recommends using the nearby stations serving the 4 train situated along Jerome Avenue.
  • For the Norwood-205th Street station, take a shuttle bus;
  • Transfer between D and 4 trains at 161st Street-Yankee Stadium;
  • Transfer between the 4 train and the shuttle buses at Mosholu Parkway subway station.
