Canned Food Drive

Community Grant

Excelsior Scholarship
The Excelsior Scholarship application for students to attend SUNY or CUNY tuition free this spring semester is open through Dec. 4. The scholarship is open to New Yorkers with household incomes of up to $100,000. Students must agree to be enrolled in college full time and complete 30 credits per year (including summer and January semesters). Heating Assistance
Sign up to receive free heating assistance through the New York State Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). Eligible households can receive assistance of up to $725. Toy Drive
The Office of Councilman Andy King is accepting new toys for its 11th annual “Sharing is Caring” toy drive collection for young Bronx residents. Toys must be new, unwrapped, and appropriate for children ages 18 and under. Donations can be dropped off at 940 E. Gun Hill Rd. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, through Dec. 21. Parkinson’s Seminar

Dance Scholarships
The Dance Studio at Bronx House, 990 Pelham Pkwy., So., offers full year scholarships to 10 students in grades 3 to 5 for comprehensive dance training.
