The MTA shared some updates Friday, March 14, on weekend subway suspensions affecting The Bronx. Here are the changes happening this weekend, also viewable as a map:
- Bronx 4 trains aren’t running between Woodlawn and 161st Street-Yankee Stadium.
- Bronx 6 trains aren’t running between Pelham Bay Park and Hunts Point Avenue.
- Manhattan-bound 2 trains are running express from Wakefield-241st Street to East 180th Street, stopping only at Gun Hill Road.

Major Subway Service Changes
Bronx 4 train
Bronx 4 trains aren’t running between Woodlawn and 161st Street-Yankee Stadium in either direction from 3.30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 16, because of track replacement.
For service between 161st Street-Yankee Stadium and Bedford Park Boulevard, use nearby D stations along Grand Concourse. For service between Bedford Park Boulevard-Lehman College and Woodlawn, take free shuttle buses, which are running between Bedford Park Boulevard (D) and Woodlawn, stopping at Bedford Park Boulevard-Lehman College and Mosholu Parkway.
Bronx 4 trains are running between 161st Street-Yankee Stadium and Brooklyn.
Bronx 6 train
Bronx 6 trains aren’t running between Pelham Bay Park and Hunts Point Avenue in either direction from 9.30 p.m. Friday, March 14, to 5 a.m. Monday, March 17, because of accessibility work.
For service between Pelham Bay Park and Hunts Point Avenue, take free shuttle buses, which are running between these stations making all 6 stops. Bronx 6 trains are running between Hunts Point Avenue and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
Bronx 2 train
Manhattan-bound 2 trains are running express from Wakefield-241st Street to East 180th Street, stopping only at Gun Hill Road, from 5.45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16, due to track maintenance.
For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Wakefield-bound train. At Gun Hill Road, all trains are stopping at the Wakefield-bound platform.
