The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying and locating the two people seen in the attached photos who they say are sought in connection with a home invasion and armed robbery that occurred in the Mt. Hope section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Monday, Nov. 27, at around 8.39 p.m., two people broke into an apartment inside 124 East 176th Street. “Acting in concert, the individuals displayed a firearm and bound the 46-year-old male and 68-year-old female victims,” a police spokesperson said.
Police said the thieves made off with jewelry valued at around $10,000, handbags, and $1,800 in cash belonging to the victims before fleeing the location on foot in a northbound direction along Walton Avenue. “No injuries were reported as a result of this incident,” a police spokesperson said.
Police said the first suspect was described as male, is between 5 feet, 6 inches, and 5 feet, 8 inches tall, has a medium complexion, a medium build, and was last seen wearing a black mask, a blue, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white and blue sneakers.
Police said the second suspect was described as male, is between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall, has a medium complexion, a medium build, and was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, dark colored pants, and black and white sneakers.
