Mt. Hope: Two Sought for Robbery and Assault of 19-Year-Old

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video and photo who they say are sought in connection with a robbery that occurred in Mt. Hope.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, April 2, at around 11.30 p.m., a 19-year-old male victim was on the northeast corner of Creston Avenue and East Burnside Avenue, when two unidentified people approached him, slapped him in the face and stole his property. “The individuals fled on foot northbound on Creston Avenue,” a police spokesperson said.

 

Police said the suspects are described as a man with a slim build, estimated to be between 25 and 35 years of age, who was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white sneakers, and a woman with a medium build, who was estimated to be between 25 and 35 years of age and who was wearing a dark gray, hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers.
