Mt. Hope: Man Dies following Fatal Stabbing

A man has died following a fatal stabbing in the Mt. Hope section of The Bronx, police said.

 

A police spokesperson said that on Wednesday, June 12, at around 9.16 p.m., officers from the 46th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a male who had been stabbed in the vicinity of Echo Place and East Tremont Avenue.

 

“Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified adult male with a stab wound to his chest,” the spokesperson said. “EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.”
