Mt Hope: 36-Year-Old Man Found Fatally Stabbed East at Burnside Avenue & Valentine Avenue

A 36-year-old man has died following a fatal stabbing in the Mt. Hope section of The Bronx, police said.

 

An NYPD spokesperson said that on Saturday, April 26, at around 3.56 a.m., police from the 46th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding  a person who had been stabbed at East Burnside Avenue and Valentine Avenue.

“Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to the torso,” the spokesperson said. “EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.”

 

The identity of the deceased has since been identified as Christopher Fuentes from the Morrisania section of The Bronx.
