Mt Eden: Search for Assailant following Assault on 76-Year-Old Woman

 

 

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached surveillance photo who is sought regarding an assault that occurred in Mt. Eden.

 

It was reported to police that on Thursday, March 10, at approximately 7 p.m., in front of 50 West Mount Eden Avenue, a 76-year-old female victim was walking eastbound, when she was approached from behind by an unknown assailant.

 

The assailant forcibly squeezed her breasts and buttocks, and when the victim screamed for help, he pushed her to the ground and fled in an unknown direction. The victim sustained lacerations to her head, left eye and hand. EMS responded to the scene and transported the aided victim to Bronx Care Hospital, where she was treated and released.

 

The suspect was later observed at 20.50 p.m., walking in front of 102 Featherbed Lane. He is described as male, is around 20 years old, has brown eyes, a dark complexion, a thin build and brown braided hair. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a red, hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the front and sneakers.
