Mount Hope: Affordable Housing Lottery Closes in 7 Days for Units at 1728 Townsend Avenue

The affordable housing lottery closes in seven days for units at 1728 Townsend Avenue, a six-story building in Mount Hope, as reported by YIMBY.

 

Designed by Badaly Architects, the structure has seven units available on NYC Housing Connect for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $48,000 to $139,620.

 

Tenants are responsible for electricity, including electric stove, heat and hot water.

 

To request an application by mail, send a self-addressed envelope to MGNY Consulting, c/o 1728 Townsend Avenue Apartments, 18 Bridge St, Suite 2D, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Residents are requested not to apply both online and via mail. Choose one method only. To apply online, go to NYC Housing Connect.

This building is anticipated to receive a tax exemption through the 421a tax incentive program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
