Morris Heights: Female Teen Sought for Shots Fired inside Residential Building

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with a reckless endangerment incident that occurred in Morris Heights.

 

Police said that on Friday, Jan. 24, at around 11.08 p.m. at 43 Richman Plaza, an unidentified woman entered the location and fired a gun. They said she then fled the location on foot to parts unknown. Police said there were no injuries reported following the incident.

 

They said the suspect is described as female, is around 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs around 115 pounds, and was wearing black pants, black sneakers, a multi-colored sweater and a black coat.

 

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, they said the suspect has been identified as Carlotta Magwood, 19. The photo of the person is also available from the NYPD.
