Users of the Citizens’ App posted on the platform on Sunday, Sept. 24, about an as yet unconfirmed report of a potential robbery at a Target store in Marble Hill the same day.
The posts began at around 11.45 a.m. on Sunday, and one post referred to a suspect described as wearing a black sweater with two white stripes on it and black pants with a belt which had a red tag on it, reportedly armed with a screwdriver, fleeing on foot toward Broadway.
Norwood News contacted the NYPD to corroborate if the incident was legitimate. A spokesperson at the NYPD press office said they had not, at that stage, received any details which matched the description.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide any updates we receive.
