A person was transported to an area hospital after a stabbing in the vicinity of the John F. Kennedy High School in Marble Hill on Tuesday, Feb. 25, according to City officials.
An FDNY spokesperson said the department was called to the school, located at 99 Terrace Avenue in Marble Hill, at 8.46 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of the stabbing. The spokesperson said one patient was transported to an area hospital prior to the arrival of EMS at the scene.
Meanwhile, the NYPD said that at around 8.45 a.m. on Feb. 25, police received a 911 call regarding an aided, bleeding person in the vicinity of Terrace Avenue and Tibbett Avenue, within the confines of the 50th Precinct, the area where the school is located.

“Upon arrival, officers observed a 16-year-old male victim with a stab wound to the abdomen,” they said. “The victim was transported to New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital in stable condition. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.”
Norwood News has reached out to NYC Department of Education (DOE) and to the school safety agents union for more information, and will share any further updates we receive. News 12 the Bronx reported that the victim was a student.
