The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in this photo who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery pattern identified across The Bronx in recent months.
Police said the first incident took place on Thursday, Oct. 26, at around 4.28 p.m. in Mt. Eden when a 13-year-old male victim was in the vicinity of Jerome Avenue and East 170th Street. They said a suspect approached the victim on the BX18 bus and stole his cellphones from his pants pocket. They said the suspect got off the bus and fled to parts unknown, and no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
Police said the second incident occurred on Thursday, Dec. 21, at around 4 p.m. in Fordham Manor when a 49-year-old female victim was in the vicinity of 2543 Webster Avenue. They said two people approached the victim and stole her cellphone while she was getting on the BX18 bus. They said the suspect fled to parts unknown and no injuries were reported.
Police said the third incident took place on Monday, Dec. 4, at around 4 p.m. in Morrisania when a 44-year-old male victim was in the vicinity of 3 Avenue and East 163rd Street and a person approached the victim on the BX15 bus and stole the victim’s cellphones from his jacket pocket. They said the suspect got off the bus and fled the location to parts unknown, and no injuries were reported.
Police said the fourth incident took place on Friday, Jan. 12, at around 4.45 p.m. in Fordham Manor when a 19-year-old female victim was in the vicinity of 215 East Fordham Road and a person approached her as she was taking the BX12 bus and stole the victim’s cellphones from her pocket. They said the suspect fled the location to parts unknown and no injuries were reported.
They said the suspect being sought is described as male with a medium complexion, medium build, and light-colored hair. They said he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and black sneakers.
