Fordham Manor: Women Stabbed in Chest, Dies

The NYPD reported that on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at approximately 1:38 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding an unconscious, aided female inside of 2575 Jerome Avenue in the 3rd floor hallway, within the confines of the 52nd precinct in the Fordham Manor section of the Bronx.

 

Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious and unidentified woman, approximately 25-35-years in age, with a stab wound to the chest. The victim was transported by EMS to Saint Barnabas hospital, where she was pronounced deceased at 2:22 a.m. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

 

Identification of the deceased is pending.
