Kingsbridge: Man Wanted in Connection with Robbery

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the man shown in the attached surveillance video and photo, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 50th precinct in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx.

 

On Monday, July 20, 2020 at approximately 3:30 p.m., inside 237 West 231st Street (All Wireless and Electronics), an unidentified man engaged in a verbal dispute with a store clerk. During the verbal exchange, the male took out a knife from his pocket and proceeded to remove five cellphones from behind the counter, along with $440 from the register.  The male fled in unknown direction. The store clerk was not injured as a result of this incident.

Anyone with information with regard to the identity of this male is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
