Kingsbridge Heights: Person Sought following Stabbing in front of 2011 Albany Crescent

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video who they say is wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights.

 

Officers from the 50th Precinct said that on Monday, July 1, at around 4.30 a.m., a 38-year-old male victim was walking on the sidewalk in front of 3011 Albany Crescent when two unidentified individuals approached him. They said one of the two proceeded to repeatedly stab him multiple times about the body. “The individuals then fled the location on foot, traveling southbound on Heath Avenue,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.”

 

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
