Kingsbridge Heights: Man Sought in Early Morning Non-Fatal Shooting

THE NEW YORK City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in this photo who they say is wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights, The Bronx on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at around 4.20 a.m., in front 3340 Bailey Avenue, the person fired multiple rounds toward an unknown intended target, striking three parked and unoccupied vehicles at the location. “The individual then fled into 3340 Bailey Avenue and took the elevator to the 8th floor,” a police spokesperson said. “There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.”

Police said the person sought is described as male, is around 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs around 140 pounds, has a dark complexion, a slim build and long, black hair worn in locks. They said he was last seen wearing a red hooded jacket, black pants and blue sandals.

 

The attached photo of the suspect was obtained from the incident location, police said.
