Kingsbridge Heights: Man Sought for Slashing Incident

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos and video who they say is sought in connection to an assault that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights.

 

Police said that on Thursday, March 27, at around 4.43 p.m. inside 263 West Kingsbridge Road, an unidentified person got into a dispute with a 43-year-old male victim. They said the unidentified person approached the victim and slashed him with an unknown object.

They said the assailant fled on foot, traveling southbound on Bailey Avenue to parts unknown. “The victim sustained a minor laceration but was not hospitalized as a result of this incident,” a police spokesperson said.

 

The suspect is described as male and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
