Kingsbridge Heights: Man Sought for House Burglary

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance locating the person seen in the attached video and photo who is sought in connection to a burglary that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights.

 

Police said that on Wednesday, April 5, at around 7 p.m., an unidentified person approached a home located in the vicinity of Webb Avenue and Eames Place. They said a person jumped over a fence surrounding the property and entered the building through an unlocked basement door. “Once inside, the individual removed approximately $200 in cash, car keys, and approximately $1,175 in tools,” a police spokesperson said.

Police said the home was occupied by a 35-year-old woman at the time of the break-in, adding that she discovered the burglar inside the property. They said he fled the location in an unknown direction upon being discovered, and added that the woman did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of the incident.

 

A person sought for a crime is deemed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
