The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photos who they say is sought in connection to a robbery that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights.
Police said that on Monday, June 5, at approximately 3.18 p.m., the victim, an 18-year-old woman, was walking in the vicinity of East Kingsbridge Road and Grand Concourse when she was approached by a person unknown to her. The person stole the victim’s necklace and was last seen heading westbound on East 192nd Street on foot, police said. They added that the victim was not injured as a result of the incident.
The thief was described to police as male, has a medium complexion, is of a medium build, has a black beard, and is around 5 feet, 9 inches tall. Police said he was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray jeans, and black and white sneakers, and carrying a black, hooded sweatshirt and a black mask. They said he also has full length sleeve tattoos on both arms.
