Kingsbridge Heights: Man Slashed in Face on West Kingsbridge Road

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights.

 

Police said that on Saturday, July 6, at around 9.29 a.m., a 27-year-old male victim was in front of 251 West Kingsbridge Road when an unidentified individual approached him from behind. ‘The individual displayed a knife and slashed the victim in the face,” police said. “The individual then fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on Bailey Avenue. EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.”

 

Police said the suspect is described as male, he has a medium complexion, a slim build, and is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall. They said he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a Levi’s logo, black sweatpants, black Crocs, and had a black fanny pack.
