Kingsbridge Heights: Group Sought for Assault & Robbery of Man

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection with an attempted robbery that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights.

 

Police said that on Saturday, March 15, at around 3.36 a.m. at the intersection of West 195th Street and Jerome Avenue, a 40-year-old male victim was approached by three unidentified people.

“The individuals, acting in concert, threw a glass bottle at the victim, causing lacerations to the right hand, and attempted to forcibly remove a necklace for him,” a police spokesperson said.

 

Police said the group then fled on foot, traveling southbound along Jerome Avenue, and EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
