Kingsbridge Fire

FDNY confirm that a dual fire alarm was raised on Friday, May 8, at 1:08 a.m., at a six-story building at 2840 Sedgwick Ave. Twenty-five fire units and 106 FDNY members deployed to the scene. One firefighter incurred a minor injury and was transported to New York-Presbyterian hospital. The fire was brought under control at 2:24 a.m., and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
