Kingsbridge: No Injuries Reported following 8th Floor Residential Fire

No injuries were reported following a residential fire which broke out in a multi-story building in Kingsbridge on Monday night.

 

An FDNY spokesperson said they received a call at 8.15 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 25, for a report of smoke/fire at 3424 Kingsbridge Avenue in The Bronx.

FDNY officials said the blaze originated on the 9th floor of a 14-story, multiple dwelling [125×100] and that 20 fire units, comprising 78 fire personnel responded to the scene.

They said the fire was brought under control at 8.48 p.m. and there were no injuries.

 

The cause is under investigation.
