Jerome Park: Affordable Housing Lottery for Units at 27 East 198th Street Closes in 5 Days

The housing lottery closes in five days for units at 27 East 198th Street, an eight-story residential building in Jerome Park, in the Bronx, as reported by YIMBY.

 

Designed by Badaly Architects, the structure has 14 units available on NYC Housing Connect for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $46,629 to $167,570.

 

Tenants are responsible for electricity, including electric stove, electric heat and electric hot water. Amenities include a rear yard, a common laundry area (card operated), bike storage* and general storage* (*subject to additional fees).

 

To request an application by mail, send a self-addressed envelope to MGNY Consulting, c/o 27 E 198th Street Apartments, 18 Bridge Street, Suite 4-i, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Residents are requested not to apply both online and via mail. Choose one method only. Apply online via NYC Housing Connect.

 

This building is anticipated to receive a tax exemption through the 421a tax incentive program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).
