A new year, a new set of resolutions. This week, the Norwood News interviewed several neighbors with hopes, plans and resolutions for 2014.
1) The first would be to stay healthy, and the second is to get ready for med school. I’d also like to better cultivate relationships with family.
–Aaron Apafio
2) I hope it’s going to be a good New Year and that we start making more money. I wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope the new mayor does a good job and I hope they reduce the taxes so things can improve.
–Assad Riham
3) To be a better person in general and I hope that everyone comes home from war, safe and sound, to their families who are waiting.
–Eva Rodriguez
4) I have no resolutions, but my hopes for the New Year is just to get a good job. I hope the new mayor takes better care of the Bronx instead of just focusing on downtown Manhattan.
–Ralph Gil
5) Yes, to stop smoking and to lose weight. Hopes for the Bronx… I live on Clinton Avenue and they’re doing a lot of holdups over there. I’ve been there since I was seven years old. There’s a lot of bad stuff going on and I’d like it to stop.
–Gladys Robles
