Gang Sought for Armed Robbery Pattern Identified in Bronx Park

 

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the people seen in this photo who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery pattern identified within the 52nd Precinct boundaries.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the people seen in the attached photo who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery pattern identified across Bronx Park.

 

Police said the first incident took place on Saturday, May 4, at approximately 10.28 p.m. when the victim, a 21-year-old man, was walking inside of Bronx Park when he was approached by three unidentified people. “Acting in concert, the individuals displayed two firearms and demanded the victim’s property,” a police spokesperson said. “The individuals forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone, jacket, and wallet containing approximately $95.” Police said the victim was uninjured.

 

Police said the second incident took place on Monday, May 6, at around 8.45 p.m. when the victim, a 26-year-old man, was riding through Bronx Park when he was approached by four unidentified people. “Acting in concert, the individuals displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s property,” a police spokersperson said. “The individuals forcibly removed the victim’s motorized scooter with the victim’s cell phone attached.” Police said the victim was, once again, uninjured.

 

Police said the third incident occurred on Sunday, May 12, at around 9.30 p.m. when the victim, a 34-year-old man, was standing inside Bronx Park when he was approached by two unidentified people. “Acting in concert, the individuals displayed a firearm and demanded the victim’s property,” a police spokesperson said. “The individuals forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone and wallet containing credit cards and approximately $10.” Once again, police said the victim was uninjured.

 

Police said the fourth incident took place on Wednesday, May 22, at around 4.30 p.m. when the victims, a 16-year-old male teen and 16-year-old female teen, were walking inside Bronx Park when they were approached by three unidentified people. They said that acting in concert, the individuals demanded [one of] the victim’s cell phones. “The victims did not comply and a physical altercation ensued,” a police spokesperson said.

 

They said both victims were then punched in the face and both victims’ cell phones were stolen. “The victims suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention,” the police spokesperson said.
