Big congratulations to Heather Haddon, formerly of the Norwood News and now a rising star at The Wall Street Journal for her coverage on the “Bridgegate” scandal that’s testing the political future of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Haddon appeared on MSNBC’s “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” on January 14, chronicling her initial investigation into the scandal involving Christie’s top aides deliberately snarling traffic on the George Washington Bridge as political punishment towards Fort Lee’s mayor for not endorsing Christie for re-election.
Local Facebook sites have been gleaming with pride knowing about Haddon’s time at the Norwood News and her new prospects, as she continues to climb. Before making it big, Haddon etched her name as an aggressive reporter for the Norwood News nine years ago, cracking several big investigative pieces for the News. One of her prolific articles focused on a shady landlord who flipped apartment buildings, only to jack up rents and displace the tenants. Her investigation earned her a prize from the New York Press Association for best in-depth work.
Haddon moved on to other papers before finding a gig at The Wall Street Journal.
“Do you consider yourself the Woodward or Bernstein of ‘Bridgegate,'” asked O’Donnell to Haddon.
Whatever Haddon’s state now, one thing’s for sure–the Norwood News is certainly proud of this gumshoe reporter. Congrats Heather. Keep making the Norwood News proud!
Sorry, but Kelly was ALL WRONG in bringing that up. The American people don’t care about the past, they want to know what these candidates are going to do to get our Country out of this mess that Obama put us in. For you to decide you’re not having Trump at your debate, will just anger the American voters who want to hear EVERYONE. You are being IN THE WRONG.
