The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection to an assault that occurred inside Fordham Road subway station on Monday, Dec. 11.
Police said that on Monday, Dec. 11, at around 2.35 a.m., a 25-year-old male victim was inside Fordham Road station, when an unidentified man approached him and started a verbal dispute. They said the suspect then punched the victim in the face and fled the location on foot, traveling to parts unknown. They said the victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.
Police said the person sought is described as male, has a light complexion, is around 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and is around 25 years old. They said he was last seen wearing a blue, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a black backpack.
We asked the NYPD if they could clarify if the incident took place at the Fordham Road subway station serving the B/D trains or the one serving the 4 train. They confirmed it took place at the former.
