Fordham Manor: Woman Sought for Pepper-Spraying Bus Driver

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred in Fordham Manor.

 

Police said that on Friday, May 3, at around 4.20 p.m., a 51-year-old, on-duty male MTA bus driver was working on the BX28 bus route in the vicinity of Valentine Avenue and East 192nd Street, when he was approached by an unidentified individual. They said the person discharged pepper spray into the bus driver’s face and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

 

“The victim suffered pain and swelling to the face and was removed by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition,” a police spokesperson said.
