Fordham Manor: Woman Slashed in Face During Robbery

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying two individuals wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred in the 52nd precinct. 

 

On Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 at around 2 p.m. inside 301 East Kingsbridge Road (Envy Nail Salon), two unidentified men approached a 36-year-old woman as she was exiting the store. They proceeded to slash her with a box cutter and remove her purse which contained $700.

 

The suspects fled on foot northbound on East Kingsbridge Road toward Briggs Avenue. The victim sustained a laceration to her face and was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.  

 

The first man is described as a light-skinned adult, 20 to 30 years of age, is 6 feet tall, weighs 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers and a black mask. Surveillance photo of the individual is attached and available at the NYPD.

 

The second man is described as a dark-skinned adult, 20 to 30 years of age, is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black jeans, brown boots and a black mask.
