Fordham Manor / University Heights: Man Sought for Armed Robbery Pattern

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the man seen in the attached photos who they say is wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery pattern that has been identified throughout the month of June across Fordham Manor and University Heights.

 

Police said the first incident took place on Wednesday, June 5, at around 00.30 a.m. when a 27-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified male in the vicinity of the Grand Concourse and East 192nd Street in Fordham Manor. They said the suspect stabbed the victim in the arm with a knife and robbed his wallet and cellphone before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. “The victim traveled by private means to Bronx Lebanon Hospital and is in stable condition,” a police spokesperson said.

Police said the second incident took place on Wednesday, June 5, at around 1.15 p.m. when a 52-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified male in front of 71 East Kingsbridge Road in Fordham Manor. They said the suspect punched the victim in the face and stole his wallet and cellphone before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. “The victim refused medical attention,” a police spokesperson said.

 

Police said the third incident occurred on Wednesday, June 5, at around 3.10 p.m. when a 37-year-old female victim was approached by an unidentified male in front of 84 West Fordham Road in University Heights. They said the suspect simulated a gun and stole the victim’s wallet and cellphone before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. “No injuries reported,” a police spokesperson said.

Police said that a fourth incident took place on Friday, June 21, at around 3.30 p.m. when a 25-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified male in the vicinity of Davidson Avenue and West 192nd Street in Fordham Manor. They said the suspect displayed a knife and stole the victim’s wallet and cellphone before he fled on foot in an unknown direction. “No injuries reported,” a police spokesperson said.
