The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached video and photo who they say are sought in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Tuesday, March 5, at around 6.54 p.m., a 54-year-old male employee was approached by two people inside a business in the vicinity of 8 East Fordham Road.
They said both displayed guns and demanded some property. They said they stole around $100,000 worth of jewelry and then fled the location on foot. They said the victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.
Police said one of the thieves is described as male, has a light complexion and a medium build, who was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black sneakers, and a black face mask. They said the other is described as male, has a light complexion and medium build, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray pants, white sneakers, and a black face mask.
A separate jewelry store was also robbed recently, as reported, on East 204th Street in Norwood on Wednesday, Feb. 21. The store reopened on Sunday, March 3.
