The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photo, who police say are sought in connection with a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Friday, Sept. 22, at around 11.05 a.m., the victim, a 29-year-old man, was walking in the vicinity of Fordham Hill Oval and Webb Avenue. They said the victim was approached by two people unknown to him who were riding on a moped. “Acting in concert, the individuals displayed a firearm and stole the victim’s two gold chains,” a police spokesperson said.
“The individuals then fled on the moped traveling eastbound on Webb Avenue,” the spokesperson added. Police said the victim was uninjured.
Police said the first individual sought is described as male, is between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, has a dark complexion, a slim build and was last seen wearing a black mask, a black, hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
They said the second person sought is also described as male, is estimated to be between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, has a dark complexion, and a slim build. They said he was last seen wearing a black mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and red sneakers. The two-wheel moped was described as dark colored.
