The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the person seen in the attached photo who department officials say is sought in connection with a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Tuesday, June 13, at approximately 4.41 p.m., three people approached a business located at 2441 Jerome Avenue. They said one member of the group remained at the door as a lookout, while the other two entered the business. “Once inside, one of the individuals displayed a firearm at a 31-year-old male employee while demanding property,” a police spokesperson said.
“The individuals then proceeded to remove approximately $200, as well as multiple packs of cigarettes valued at approximately $200, before fleeing the location on foot in an unknown direction,” the spokesperson added. Police said there were no reported injuries following the incident.
They added that pursuant to an ongoing investigation, two members of the group have since been apprehended while one is still sought. They shared the attached photo in the context of the remaining person sought.
A person arrested and charged with a crime is deemed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
