The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the group seen in the attached photo who they say are sought in connection to an armed assault that occurred in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Friday, Nov. 10, at around 11.20 a.m. the victim, a 60-year-old man, was inside Devoe Park in the vicinity of Webb Avenue and Father Zeisler Place when he was approached by six members of the group who proceeded to punch him about the body and face, and slash him multiple times in the face and neck with an unknown object.
“The unidentified individuals fled the location in two dark colored, four-door sedans, traveling northbound on University Avenue to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.”
Police said four of those sought are described as male and have dark complexions and two are described as female with dark complexions. They said the first male suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants, the second male was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and gray jeans, a third male suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray jeans and a fourth male suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket and black jeans.
Meanwhile, they said the first female suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans, and the second female suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and white sweatpants.
