Fordham Manor: Search for Group Sought in Robbery

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video who they say are sought in connection to a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor.

Police said on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at approximately 3.25 a.m., four people approached a 28-year-old male victim in the vicinity of Bainbridge Avenue and East 194th Street. They said the group told the victim to give them everything he had.

They said this prompted the victim to run away from them. In the process, they said the victim dropped his cellphone and it was picked up and taken by one member of the group. They said the group fled southbound on Bainbridge Avenue, and the victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/ or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
