Fordham Manor: Scooter Driver Sought for Armed Robbery with Knife

NYPD OFFICIALS ARE seeking the public’s help identifying the person seen in this video who they say is sought in connection to a robbery that occurred at 2471 Morris Avenue in Fordham Manor on Friday, July 21, 2023.

 

NYPD officials are seeking the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is sought in connection to a robbery that occurred in  Fordham Manor.

 

Police said that on Friday, July 21, at around 5.45 p.m., a 54-year-old woman was walking in front of 2471 Morris Avenue when a person approached her on a motorized scooter, displayed a knife, and forcibly stole a chain from around her neck. They said the thief then fled on the white scooter westbound on Fordham Road. “The victim refused medical attention,” police said.
