The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying two people seen in the attached surveillance video and photos regarding a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor, in the 52nd precinct.
On Saturday, June 12, at 8.40 a.m., inside the subway station located in the vicinity of East Kingsbridge Road and Grand Concourse, in Fordham Manor, the victim, a 37-year-old man was traveling aboard the southbound (D) train, and as the train pulled into the Kingsbridge Road station, two unknown people walked past him.
The first individual bumped into his leg and a verbal dispute ensued. The second individual then held open the train car doors at which time the first individual wrestled with the victim and forcibly removed his necklace before both suspects exited the train. The victim remained on the subway, and there were no injuries reported. The suspects were later observed on surveillance camera exiting a residential building located at 2707 Creston Avenue in Fordham Manor.
The first individual is described as male, has a light complexion, thin build, is approximately 6 feet tall and is about 20 years old. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
The second individual is described as male, has a dark complexion, is heavy set, is approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall, is about 20 years old and has dark hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing dark pants, dark colored sneakers and a dark colored, hooded sweatshirt with the words Adidas written in white on the front.
