Fordham Manor: Man Wanted for Robbery of Teen inside Fordham Road Subway Station

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor on the subway system.

 

Police said that on Thursday, March 13, at around 2.50 p.m., a 19-year-old male victim was waiting on the southbound platform of Fordham Road subway station serving the D train, when an unidentified person approached, threatened him, and demanded his belongings. They said the suspect then stole the victim’s AirPods and tripped him with a cane. They said he then exited the station on foot and fled in an unknown direction. They said there were no injuries reported.

 

The suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, and is around 5 feet, 6 inches tall. They said he was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and multicolored sneakers.
